Amanda Jo Cevallos is a real Texas girl, born in Dallas and raised in Houston. She’s been singing and writing country music since 1997. She picked up a guitar in 2003 while going to college in Missoula, MT, and the rest is history…. She’s opened for The Marshall Tucker Band, The Avett Brothers, Susan Gibson & shared the stage with her idol, storyteller, Todd Snider. Amanda lives in Austin Texas and performs regularly at the Legendary Broken Spoke on Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm. Amanda’s band is a 5-piece vintage country music band with Pedal Steel Guitar featuring Neil Flanz ,who used to play with Gram Parsons and The Fallen Angels. You can find video of the band at our Youtube Channel. Amanda’s 1st CD, Rainy Day, was released in 2006, followed up in 2009 with an EP, Chase The Rain. Her new album, and 1st LIVE record, “Amanda Cevalos LIVE featuring Neil Flanz,” was recorded this June 2011 in a church in South Austin. In 2012, Amanda Cevallos is recording her 1st studio record with the aid of her producer, James Hyland. The first single off the album, “Good For Nothing But Each Other,” will be out this January.
