Julianne Bushby
Singer/songwriter rhythm guitarist
With over 20 years experience Julianne’s voice has a powerful range in tone and timber allowing great contrast and emotion to be expressed in her singing. Julianne has released two CD’s ‘Real Honesty’ and The Sad Clown, featuring her own original material. She has performed solo for many years as well as in many bands including ‘Hit the Deck’ and ‘Vital Bits’ supporting acts such as Mental as Anything and The Divinals. In her solo act she has performed at the Suncorp Stadium Brisbane, Cobargo Folk Festival and won senior female singer at Cootamundra Country Music Festival.
Recently Julianne has been performing with the Potbelly Strings and has performed at the Cygnet Folk Festival, St Patrick’s Festival, Steamfeast at Sheffield, and the Richmond Fair. As well as many Venues around Tasmania such as Irish Murphury’s, Margate Vineyard, Republic Bar to name a few. Now doing her solo act she has performed at the upfront club Maleny, Jalla’s cafe Woodford, Yandina Hotel and cafe’s up and down the coast of Queensland. And recently at the Mataranka homestead.
