Multiple award-winning singer and songwriter Ricky Fitzpatrick has been long hailed as “a Southernized Bob Dylan” and “the next James Taylor” with “a voice as smooth as moonshine”. For more than 20 years, he has crafted simple but “unforgettable songs that coolly straddle the fence between Folk & Country”.
Ricky’s musical career spans pop, rock, country, folk and Christian genres, with performances everywhere from “Live at the Apollo” to The Bluebird Café. He’s also celebrated two Number One downloads, was named as a Top Ten Folk artist on Myspace, is one of the top five most downloaded ringtone artists ever on Myxer.com, and recently selected as an endorsing artist for C.F.Martin & Co and Dunlop Accessories.
Today, Ricky leads worship at his home congregation of Corner-Stone Church (Jefferson, GA), posts regular offerings to his online devotional blog, and still maintains an active schedule with the charitable organization that he helped to found, The Healing Power of Music.
Recently, in addition to his F2 Records offerings of Country, Folk and Christian music, Ricky’s acoustic guitar work can also be heard amidst Grammy-winning peers on the highly acclaimed “Guitar Meditations Vol. 3” project, from New Age label, Soulfood Music.
Ricky lives, records and pursues the vision of Christ, in the tiny community of Apple Valley (unincorporated), GA with his wife, children and the occasional lizard.
