Number four of nine children, Trysette is a classically trained pianist, singer, songwriter from the north coast of New South Wales, Australia.
A broken heart at 19 inspired her first song. So exciting and cathartic was the process Trysette quickly forgot all her woes and was grateful for the source of inspiration. Songwriting was now the new love.
Trysette’s voice is warm and a little husky with strength and depth. Though unique and distinctive, she is often likened by her fans to the voices of Taylor Swift, Jewel, Emmylou Harris and Sara McLachlan. A fusion of folk and pop, Trysette has attitude, is intuitively melodic and intelligently sensual. The lady has something to say.
After signing her first EP Take A Risk to Warner Chappell Music, Trysette went on to release three independent albums, French Kiss, Here On In and Le Cafe Ancien. Le Cafe Ancien was recorded in 2010 in the UK and France by producer and artist Chris Corney and due to a whirlwind of recent success, Trysette has now been picked up by U.S. label 'Global Journey Music'.
Touring internationally as a solo artist, Trysette has been invited to share the stage with some prestigous names including Bob Malone, Toni Childs and Australia's own Deborah Conway and the Waifs.

The album, 'Le Cafe Ancien', began it's life in the UK in 2008 where Trysette met producer Chris Corney. Two personally tumultuous years later it was completed in the South of France and named after the home of Lesley Gibson who provided the space, time and idyllic environment for the project to take place.
'Le Cafe Ancien' is a sensitively diarised account of a challenging period of time in Trysette's life, and though the vocals are sung with fragile sincerity, the mood is light and upbeat. This coupled with Chris Corney's British Pop approach to the production, makes 'Le Cafe Ancien' a most enjoyable album from start to finish.

Neutral Bay Sessions gets it's name from the Sydney suburb Neutral Bay where this EP was recorded. Originally meant to be used as demo material, these recordings attracted too much attention to be ignored. Trysette decided to release them as an EP and sent them off to the UK to be mastered by Chris Corney who then recommended they be heard by indie record label in London, White Wail. Neutral Bay Sessions is now released on White Wail Records London.

French Kiss is Trysette’s first album and takes it’s name from the movie starring Kevin Klein and Meg Ryan. The reason for this is that Trysette was working with a French guitarist at the time who’s girlfriend had a small part in the movie. Track 7, French Kiss was written about the couple when they were required to return to Paris after their twelve month stay in Australia, and so with it’s beatlesque quirkiness and richly layered production, it became the title track for the album.
Produced by Rick Melick (Jo Bonamassa) and boasting some of Australia’s finest musicians including Mike Caen (Mental As Anything, Jenny Morris, Rick Price, Tina Arena, Daryl Braithwaite), Michel Rose (Feral Swing Katz) and Mick Malouf (Graeme Connors, Beccy Cole, Peace Train), French Kiss is a very satisfying 38 min listening experience dripping with beautifully constructed pop songs and the kind of musical treats you’d expect to find with the calibre of musicians involved.
